Therefore, in addition to formalities such as <a href=\"https:\/\/ekologistyka24.pl\/en\/waste-transport-permits-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">waste permits<\/a>, The environmental stickers must also be taken care of. The two go hand in hand: the permit gives you the right to provide the service, while the sticker paves the way for the low emission zone (LEZ) in your city. As a result, you avoid fines, stoppages and nervous explanations during inspections. In Europe, there is admittedly no commandment for every country to develop such green solutions. These are bottom-up initiatives by individual countries. The EU only sets air quality limits and, when they are exceeded, obliges countries to corrective plans - but leaves the choice of tools, i.e. LEZs, charges, bans, entry hours, registrations or stickers, to governments and cities. Mandatory stickers have been introduced in three countries, allowing trucks to enter low-emission zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-theme-palette-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-049814a12721a3c51444449be05d5dba\"><strong>Germany (Umweltplakette)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Umweltzonen (environmental zones) have been introduced in towns and cities, and the obligation to have badges to access these zones stems from the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gesetze-im-internet.de\/bimschv_35\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">35. BImSchV<\/a> (Federal Immission Control Act)<\/em>. It is an offence to drive without a green sticker, even if the vehicle meets the standards of the relevant EURO class. The sticker is assigned to the number plate and must be affixed to the windscreen. This is precisely illustrated by the following quote, which is a translation of the official passage of the law:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-align-left has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-9-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-ee9549c4c79705f379cc80bb28ba20d9\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-size:12px\"><blockquote><p><strong>(1) For the marking of motor vehicles belonging to pollutant groups 2 to 4, disposable, light-resistant and tamper-proof stickers shall be used (...). The identification of the group in question shall be effected by means of the number of the group indicated on the sticker and the corresponding colours. The colours of the stickers are as follows: group 2 - red, group 3 - yellow, group 4 - green.<br>(2) On the sticker, the competent issuing authority shall write the registration number of the vehicle concerned in the space provided, in a light-resistant pen. For the purpose of marking the vehicle, the sticker must be affixed in a clearly visible position on the inside of the windscreen. Municipalities designate low emission zones (ZFE-m) and introduce \u201edifferentiated traffic\u201d rules. In practice, you will not enter many French cities without the correct sticker. The sticker is assigned to the registration number. This is clear from the following passages, translated from official legislation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-align-left has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-9-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-4f58349da720a8d923571a418cd7b6e2\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-size:12px\"><blockquote><p><strong>Motor vehicles of categories <strong>M, N and L<\/strong>, as defined in Art. <strong>R.311-1<\/strong>, are identified - <strong>when their conditions of use so require<\/strong> - by means of <strong>secured vignette<\/strong> referred to \u201e<strong>certificat qualit\u00e9 de l'air<\/strong>\u201d.<br>\u201eCertificat qualit\u00e9 de l'air\u201d certifies the compliance of vehicles with the <strong>individual classes<\/strong>, determined taking into account <strong>emissions of air pollutants<\/strong> and their <strong>energy efficiency<\/strong>. The classification of vehicles shall take into account in particular: their category within the meaning of Art. <strong>R.311-1<\/strong>, drive type, <strong>technical standards<\/strong> in force on the date of <strong>approvals<\/strong> of the vehicle or on the date of its <strong>first registration<\/strong>, as well as possible <strong>pollution control devices<\/strong> installed after <strong>the first time the vehicle is placed in service<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p><cite><strong>Article R318-2 of the Road Traffic Act<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, information on the location of the sticker can hardly be found in the above-mentioned law. This is where <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/jorf\/id\/JORFTEXT000032795657\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Implementing act of 29 June 2016<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-align-left has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-9-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-c7f4ddb8e7d7e3a2f7ee883bb278d552\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-size:12px\"><blockquote><p><strong><strong>The air quality certificate shall be displayed on the front of the vehicle in such a way that it can be read by control officers from the outside. For trucks, only the Austrian sticker assigned to the VIN of the vehicle is required. This requirement is clarified by the following quote, which is an extract from the aforementioned law, translated for the purposes of the article:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote has-text-align-left has-theme-palette-3-color has-theme-palette-9-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-7b89403f68f2baf4518e015f374d27f3\" style=\"padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);font-size:12px\"><blockquote><p><strong><strong><strong>(1)<\/strong> On motor vehicles, (...) shall be displayed <strong>externally recognisable marking<\/strong>, which shows to which <strong>emission classes<\/strong> the vehicle in question (...). This designation shall be in the form of <strong>stickers<\/strong> put <strong>on the inside of the windscreen<\/strong> (\u2026), <strong>permanently<\/strong> i <strong>well readable from the outside<\/strong>; (...). The indication of the emission class must imply the possibility of <strong>Vehicle identification<\/strong>.<br><strong>(2)<\/strong> Emission class designation places <strong>vehicle manufacturer<\/strong> or its <strong>national plenipotentiary<\/strong> in accordance with \u00a7 29 (2) KFG 1967 at the <strong>the placing on the market of new vehicles<\/strong>, or it is <strong>placed or issued<\/strong> by entities <strong>authorised pursuant to \u00a7 57a KFG 1967<\/strong>, if appropriate <strong>evidence of emission classes<\/strong>, to which the vehicle belongs. If <strong>it cannot be conclusively demonstrated<\/strong>, to which emission class the vehicle belongs <strong>award a lower class designation<\/strong>, and when <strong>is not clear<\/strong>, whether the vehicle is subject to emission classification at all, you should <strong>refuse to issue or affix a mark<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p><cite><strong>\u00a7 14a.<em>Immission Control
