Detailed procedure for washing and disinfecting a semi-trailer
Proper cleaning of the trailer after UPPZ transport avoids contamination and meets sanitary requirements. Here are detailed instructions:
1. preparation for washing
- Before starting work, staff should put on protective suits, gloves, masks and goggles to avoid contact with biological residues and chemicals.
- The semi-trailer should be in a designated area with a drainage system that complies with environmental standards.
2. Removal of residual UPPZ
- Any residue should be removed mechanically - with scrapers, shovels but also brushes.
- Waste must be placed in special containers and disposed of in accordance with sanitary regulations.
3. Pre-washing
- Use high-pressure water (which should have an optimum temperature of 40-60°C) to remove loose dirt.
- Flush the trailer from top to bottom, directing the dirt towards the drains.
