FAQ - Authorisation

NO. Most countries have their own internal regulations that apply permits for waste transport. They should be obtained from the designated offices of a given country.
The exceptions are CH, FR, HU, SLO, SK, ES, LT, LV, EST where you can use a permit issued in another Member State in accordance with Regulations 1013/2006 and 1379/2007. We recommend that in the above-mentioned countries additionally use certificates in a dedicated language, which will significantly facilitate possible inspections.
Certificates are issued to the company in original form for each car and are marked with a hologram of 16 million colors with an ecological "waste carrier" leaf.  

Waste transport permits are spent  on the company. Only in Italy, the permit is assigned to specific units and it is obligatory to register each set by providing the registration numbers of the trailers and tractors.

In the case of vehicles intended for transport in Poland (loading and unloading of waste in Poland) - A white board measuring 400 mm wide and 300 mm high, with the inscription "WASTE" written in capital black letters, at least 100 mm high and line width minimum 15 mm.

– Since sending us the signed power of attorney by e-mail within 1 month  By traditional mail, you will receive information about the registration number that authorizes your company to transport waste in Poland.

– If your case is urgent, still same dayin which you pay the pro forma invoice, we can send you the so-called temporary permit. It authorizes your company to transport waste within Germany until you receive the original permit. - IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS, SEND THIS INFORMATION BY E-MAIL TO OUR SPECIALIST.
– Depending on the state in which the registration procedure will be carried out, it may happen that after. approx. 3 to 5 daysah, you will receive an invoice from us by e-mail and all the data needed to make a transfer for the administrative fee regarding the permit.
– After 1-2 weeks you will receive the original permit for the transport of waste in Germany, which will be sent to you by e-mail. Keep it at your company headquarters.

Any vehicle carrying waste to Germany must be equipped with a special sign with a large 'A' (from German Abfall - waste), prominently displayed both on the bonnet of the vehicle and at the rear on the trailer. Information about this marking, also known as the A-schield, can be found in the German law on the circular economy, known as the Kreislaufwirtschaftsgesetz (KrWG). This is the key law regulating waste management in Germany and also implements EU regulations in this area.

In terms of waste permits, Belgium is divided into three regions in which separate permits must be obtained:

BELGIUM FLANDS::

- After 1-2 days working days, our specialist will send you the permit by e-mail. Print them, copy them and give them to drivers in their cars. You will not receive the original permit by regular mail. The PDF file we sent is sufficient.
 
BELGIUM WALLOON:

– Names and surnames of the drivers you work with (we are interested in the list of drivers you cooperate with on the day of obtaining the permit. There is no need to update this data)
– Numbers of cars and trailers that you have at your disposal (we are interested in the list of cars and trailers that you have at your disposal on the day of obtaining the permit. There is no need to update this data)
– Telephone number and e-mail address for the contact person regarding the permit
– Scan of the international transport license

– After sending us the above-mentioned information  same day Our accounting department will send you a pro forma invoice for obtaining the permit with a 3-day payment deadline to the provided e-mail address.
– After making the payment, send the transfer confirmation to our accounting department at: ksiegowosc@ekologistyka24.pl. Same day you will receive a VAT invoice with information that we are starting to process your order.
– Then in the next message from our specialist you will receive a certificate. Sign it (please sign it from an authorized person), stamp it, scan it and send it back by e-mail.
– After approx. 30 days After returning the certificate, you will receive the original permit. It will be sent to you by traditional mail.
– After receiving any correspondence from Belgium, send us the scans – we will verify them and confirm that the documents you received are a waste transport permit.

BELGIUM BRUSSELS:
– Order processing time –  about 1 month
– Validity period of the permit – indefinite
– Scope of permission – All types of non-hazardous waste (it is possible to add hazardous waste, but you will have to indicate specific codes)
– Documents in the car –  Photocopy of the permit
– Car markings – A white board, 400 mm wide and 300 mm high, with a capital letter "A" in black, at least 200 mm high and with a line width of at least 20 mm.

SEND US:
– Name, address and Tax Identification Number of the company for which you want to obtain a permit 
– Invoice details with the payer's NIP number
– Name and surname of the partners/owner or president of the company/company.
– Telephone number and e-mail address for the contact person regarding the permit

– After sending us the above-mentioned information  same day Our accounting department will send you a pro forma invoice for obtaining the permit with a 3-day payment deadline to the provided e-mail address.

– After approx 30 days Once you return the signed documents, you will receive the original permit. It will be sent to you by traditional mail.
– After receiving any correspondence, send us scans – we will verify them and confirm that the papers you received are a waste transport permit.

– Validity period of the permit – indefinite (for hazardous ones – 3 years)

– Car markings – A white board, 400 mm wide and 300 mm high, with a capital letter "A" in black, at least 200 mm high and with a line width of at least 20 mm.

SEND US:

– Information about the assigned BDO number (in connection with registration as a waste carrier in Poland) or a document from another EU country confirming possession of the authorization to transport waste
– Scan of the international transport license

– After sending us the above-mentioned information  same day Our accounting department will send you a pro forma invoice for obtaining the permit with a 3-day payment deadline to the specified e-mail address.
– After making the payment, send the transfer confirmation to our accounting department at: ksiegowosc@ekologistyka-24.pl. Same day you will receive a VAT invoice with information that we are starting to process your order.
– Then in the next message from our specialist you will receive transfer details for the administrative fee regarding the permit. After making the transfer, send us confirmation of the transaction. Make payments in Swedish Kroner (SEK)!
- After 3 weeks After sending us the set of documents, our specialist will send you an e-mail permission to transport waste. You will not receive the original permit by regular mail. The PDF file we sent is sufficient.

All documents must be submitted in the form of sworn translations into Italian with official legalization (apostille)

Providing waste transportation services, both neutral and hazardous, is an extremely profitable business. Especially if the entrepreneur manages to obtain a decision to transport waste in wealthy European countries - for example Germany, Scandinavia or the Netherlands. However, the path to this can be quite long and winding, because it is first necessary to obtain an appropriate permit for the transport of waste. What should you remember before starting the entire procedure? We discuss the most important issues in our guide.

One waste transport permit is not enough
Most European countries - including Poland - rely on their own regulations regarding waste transport, which means that carriers who want to provide such a service in different countries usually have to apply for separate decisions for waste transport. However, there are a few exceptions.
Countries such as: Switzerland, France, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia and Norway honor waste transport permits issued in another member state, preferably from the country where the company is registered - this is done under regulations EC N 1013/2006 and EC N 1379/2007.
Example: a shipping company obtained entry into the BDO database in Poland. Based on this document, it can legally provide this service in Norway, without the need to apply for a separate permit.

Advice
Ekologistyka24 recommends that carriers always have a certificate confirming the company's registration as a carrier of neutral waste, translated into the language of the country where the service is to be provided. There are no universal rules for issuing decisions on waste transport.

This means that the procedure for applying for a permit may vary significantly depending on the country in which the entrepreneur wants to provide such a service. For this reason, completing the required documents may be tedious and time-consuming, and may involve a high risk of errors. This is one of the key reasons why it is wise to use the intermediation service of an experienced company specializing in obtaining permits for the transport of waste in individual European countries. Thanks to this, the entrepreneur saves a lot of time and can be sure that he is operating based on a complete permit.

Different authorization periods in individual countries
This is another surprise that entrepreneurs may encounter. Unfortunately, due to differences in the legislation of individual countries, you cannot count on one thing permission to transport waste will be valid throughout the entire period of the company's operation. For example: in Poland registration is indefinite, in Italy or Romania it is valid for 5 years, and in Denmark, although, as in the case of Poland, it is valid for an indefinite period, you must remember to pay the administrative fee every year.

The company that offers assistance in obtaining a permit is perfectly familiar with these regulations and will remind the entrepreneur in advance of the need to renew the decision to transport waste, thus protecting him against serious consequences of illegal provision of the service.
